I'm really not that interested in talking about myself. I feel like this photo sums it up better than I ever could, but if you want more I'll oblige.
I fell in love with cinema sometime in high-school and felt like it was what I wanted to do with my life since then. I'm usually working with others either as the cameraman or the editor but what I really want to do is direct films.
There's something beautiful about seeing a film through to the end. It's work. Sometimes easy and sometimes incredibly hard, but once it's finalized and rendered the struggle doesn't matter anymore. It becomes a film through thick and thin.
The directors I look up to most are Pedro Costa, Tsai Ming-liang, Bela Tarr, Edward Yang, and Yasujiro Ozu. I'm working towards honing my craft to be as sharp as theirs. I'm in production of my first feature right now. Let's see how that goes.
